Group met to complete the Planning Report and finalize the presentation that is to be presented January 22nd
Jobin worked on Gantt chart and power point presentation
Albert worked on robot functionality
Aaron worked on budget estimate and project costs
Aramazd/Navin worked on technical proposal
Wajih/Aramazd worked on project risks and mitigation strategy
Progress:
Completed a simple chassis with wheels and layers.
Determined how the grid sensors work: using the difference between the numbers.

LOCKER NUMBER 7
Jobin developed a software testing function
Aramazd and Navin built a simple robot to test out the ZigBee(WASD) and made a video
Albert takes charge of the blog
Budget:
Spent $168 + 25$ (microcontroller) + $5 (cable)
Challenges:
Beacons - infrared LEDs
Robot - turn at the middle of intersections
Ball Retriever System - run into the beacon?
Route - how to get home? COORDINATE SYSTEM
Walls outside their walls? (Stuff outside their walls)
2 Additional XBee
Two batteries
Notes
When robot senses the beacon (sweeps), the robot can decide whether to move right or down.
The wheel that detects the distance (photoelectric sensors) in the middle.
Stay on the grid.
Walls and obstacles are same height
XZTU - XBee series 2
Arduino IDE
Next Week Goal:
Chassis (Aramazd, Wajih) - Hexagon
Sensor (Jobin, Aaron, Albert) - decide where they should go
Beacon (Navin)
January 23rd - Proposal
